Abstract

This paper investigates the purpose, process and procedures of school self-evaluation at a single case study school. Questionnaires and interviews, validated by document analysis, were used to discover staff perceptions of the current situation and possible future opportunities. The findings showed that there was a clear mandate for developing a self-evaluation system within the school. This research discusses the key areas that will need to be considered in the development of this system.
