AbstractWith the development of the emerging technologies, location monitoring has emerged recently in area of monitoring in the workplace. Compare with the other electronic monitoring types, location monitoring has a huge potential to increase in the future because of the rapid development of location sensing technology and its current low market share. Itis a complex research theme as it can bring out plenty of positive effects to organizations such as increasing productivity and reducing cost. However, the negative implications to employees such as perceptions of privacy, stress and fairness which will interact with organizations each other can also be serious problems to organizations.
