AbstractGlobalisation - phenomena has not spared any firm, as it promises higher gain. Since the last decade multinational corporations all over the world are concerned about their operations affecting the environment, local social life and also exhaustion of natural resources. Hence countries are more concerned about sustainable development. Sustainable development is defined on two aspects: natural environment and social equity. A study based on casual observation conducted (Hamprecht et.al 2005) on Nestle suggested a strong link between customer-supplier and environmental performance. Further dissecting the 2 aspects of sustainable development the following three dimensions can be used:
