AbstractIn the contemporary business environment the need for shorter execution time in a critical project has attracted many researchers and managers. Suitable answer to such critical projects is schedule management which not only monitors and organises activities but also predicts and controls uncertainties. The number of feasible schedules in a real project is typically large and exact analysis of each scheduling technique is difficult. Therefore, project managers have their liberty to choose scheduling method depending upon their interest and experience. But many findings suggest efficient scheduling techniques which consider project risk, reduced project time, resource constrain, project quality and budget into account. Current project assumes that the reader has prior knowledge of project and project management.
