Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation is to examine one of the most important aspects of performance measurement: performance appraisal. The aim of the paper is to provide the reader an understanding of performance appraisal system and to give support to the author's beliefs that organisation should adopt performance appraisal system to

systematically assess, evaluate, appraise employees' performance and at the same time reward, promote and provide training and development opportunity for its employees.
