Abstract

This research has tried to explore the experience and the challenges faced by the Indian employees working in a cross cultural work environment in a multinational corporation. There have been several studies conducted by the researchers about the cross cultural issues faced post internationalization of the firms in the western countries. But there are very few studies done on India about the issues while working with a colleague from a different nationality. This research has been conducted using qualitative research approach. Five interviews were conducted of the people working in multinational corporation in India. It was found that there were several challenges like language barriers, misunderstandings, effect on performance and further emotional challenges.
