Abstract

The purpose of this business plan is to present the idea of Matbakh Teta in detail for the purpose of presenting this idea and applying the idea in real life. Matbakh Teta is a new organic Lebanese restaurant which is located in Nabaa El Safa, one of the famous Lebanese tourist cities in the mountains. Matbakh Teta has a new view of dining out and emphasises on the concept of organic high quality food, green environment and sustainable development.

Services

Matbakh Teta will be offering high quality organic food in a peaceful, fun and exclusive place, so customers can enjoy healthy food in a social and friendly environment. Five star chefs with a superior reputation will be responsible for preparing healthy meals to match with the concept of a healthy cuisine and a wide range of options will be provided in order to satisfy all customers’ needs.

Strategy

Matbakh Teta believes that its strategy will be successful because of number of elements:

• The idea of the restaurant is new and will be presented in an original style which will give the company an advantage because people always search for a new experience.

• Matbakh Teta provides a full package of experience including delicious food, healthy and relaxing environment, friendly staff and entertainment.

• The restaurant is suitable for everyone and offers a variety of options.

• Outstanding location for local people and tourists.

Financial projections

The net profit for Matbakh Teta is assumed to reach $210,825 and $324,950 in 2013 and 2014 respectively and the sales growth rate is projected to be 7% in the second year. In the first two years of operations Matbakh Teta does not have sufficient free cash balance because of the cost of establishing the restaurants and other operating costs. The detailed scenario analysis has been carried out; the worst case scenario has been taken into projecting the finances of the company to adjust with any economic downturns.
