Abstract

The role of Diversification is very important in increasing revenue and profit of an organisation. How can an IT firm gain advantage from this fact? Can MASTEK further diversify into UK capital market? How it can gain mileage from its financial service operations in Asia-Pacific. How can knowledge relatedness lead to successful diversification of an IT firm?

The challenges which MASTEK will face while entering the financial domain as it enters a new market with well-established player. Which particular resource it needs to transform its capabilities to its productivity? What skill-set does MASTEK requires deliberating in order to perform in this domain?

The study aims to examine the various IT firms having operations in UK, their product list for financial industry and drawing a conclusion & providing recommendation’s if how MASTEK could make into this segment.
