Abstract

This paper explores the various theories of Internationalization with respect to the Small and Medium Enterprises of the Indian It and Ites Sector with a focus on the importance of Network Relationships. Case studies of three firms from the Indian IT/Ites sector that have internationalized operations in the United States are presented and their internationalization strategies are discussed in order to determine how different or similar they are to each other. In addition to this, the concept of Born Global being accredited as a theory is also touched upon.
