Abstract

I am looking at how CSR is embedded into organizations and governance processes, particularly in the multinational supply chain context. I previously did some work on Coca-Cola’s commitment to sustainable development and its commitment to achieve water neutrality. In my management project I would like to draw upon my original findings and extend them in 2 ways:

Transference of issues across different national business systems in a multinational organization

Analyze Coca-Cola as a learning organization

I will investigate international Supply Chain Management issues, corporate environmental behavior, how corporate governance links to CSR and SCM, and the effect of globalization on multinational businesses and their CSR activities.

Hopefully I am able to make certain policy recommendations to Coca-Cola to improve their environmental supply chain relationships, as well as to improve their supply chain response to environmental pressure.
