Abstract

This dissertation seeks to research, design and implement an educated simple performance management system in Singapore Epson Manufacturing Pte Ltd. Currently not even a formal performance appraisal process present. The employees are simply given a grade at the end of year depicting their performance, with no discussion whatsoever.

This will be detrimental to the organisation in the long run as the employees have no idea of the areas they are lacking in and if their performance can be deemed good in the eyes of the management. This may result in low staff morale and high turnover rates.

This project seeks to implement a suitable performance management system, concentrating primarily on the appraisal process first in order to aid the organisation manage its employees efficiently to perform well.
