Abstract

ABSTRACT

The main aims of this research project are to provide an evaluative summary of the literature on Training for Innovation, evaluate the current techniques used for Training for Innovation and devise new methods for Training for Innovation. Questionnaires were administered to provide the information relating to companies within the UK manufacturing sector.

The research revealed that there are countless techniques available for assisting with the development of innovative solutions to a myriad of issues. It was also discovered that innovation seems to be a very popular issue as there is a vast array of literature available on varying aspects of the subject.

Considering that innovation is one of the avenues for competitive advantage in a continuously evolving global village the study is timely.
