Abstract

The techniques of fintech and e-commerce have become developed and make a big difference in our lifestyle and quality of life. In addition to introducing the basic concepts of fintech and e-commerce, I also mention the impact of fintech on the entire market and e-commerce, the future development of fintech and e-commerce, and use the examples of different countries and companies to illustrate this topic. I really hope that this dissertation can lay the foundation for people who feel interested in this topic but do not have professional knowledge, and they can also think of some strategies to deal with the changes caused by the development of fintech.

As a result of doing the theoretical research, the main methods I chose were qualitative methods and documentary analysis. I referred to considerable literature, journals and articles to understand how other people thought about this topic. Then I added my own opinions to make this research more critical. In this way, I could deeply realise more aspects about fintech and e-commerce, and I collected the data of various countries and companies as the empirical cases.

Fintech is applying technology in the financial industry, and e-commerce is using the electronic network to create the platforms for people to do things online. Fintech not only changes the operating mode of the market, but also makes the market more competitive. Moreover, the biggest influence of fintech on e-commerce is mobile payment. It is predicted that mobile payment, digital banks, the application of blockchain and automated financial process will be the trend in the future. In addition, the condition of fintech is different in several countries and companies. No matter what the situation is, fintech still has many positive effects.

Based on the result, although there are some obstacles, the future of fintech and e-commerce is still very promising. However, the issues of fintech are relatively new, so that it needs to take a long time to find out the appropriate information and data. Additionally, further research can

combine fintech with other fields to discuss, and it may have new discoveries in fintech.
