Abstract

With the globalization of the world economies, International Marketing is gaining more and more prominence. India being a developing economy has recently entered into the global market. It will be very interesting and challenging to take up International Marketing of bearings, of an Indian company. I choose National Engineering Industries Ltd. To conduct my research, as it is a leading bearing company in India and also because it is in the process of making a strong hold internationally which would give me an opportunity to explore all avenue available to them.

In this case study I would be covering important points such as prioritizing the countries that NEI should focus on while marketing their product internationally, which mode of entry would be best suited to enter those markets and also the appropriate marketing strategies that would work best for promoting the product in the selected countries. Also it is an interesting topic as it would bring out all the problems that occur during marketing a product internationally.

The case study would also give an insight on the various issues, aspects and steps involved in marketing bearings internationally, which would help National Engineering Industries Ltd in accurately gauging the opportunities available to them, and help them take the right decisions regarding marketing their product internationally.
